Les informations sur ces sîtes provienent de différentes sources trop nombreuses pour en faire une liste; cependant, il faut tout spécialement remercier John Clinch et le regretté Geoff Warren pour leur contribution. La version française est en cours d'élaboration et j'espère elle sera bientôt disponible.
I've re-made the interactive Comète map and it has been populated with many sites of significance to Comète. The information on these sites has been gleaned from many sources too numerous to list; however, special thanks are due to John Clinch and the late Geoff Warren for their willing support. A French version is being developed and I hope it will be available shortly.
L’accès et la manoeuvre de la carte est facile: on peut se déplacer là où on veut en utilisant la technique « glisser et déposer ». En amenant le curseur sur un emplacement choisi on en fait apparaître une courte description et en cliquant sur l’ emplacement on fait apparaître une image après un temps de pause d’une à deux secondes.
Utilisez les signes +/- en bas à droite pour faire un zoom. Il vaut mieux faire un zoom avant pour avoir une image bien précise. Les photos pour chaque point d'intérêt peuvent être agrandies en cliquant dessus. La liste des sites sur le côté droit peut être minimisée en cliquant sur la flèche >> en haut à droite.
Accessing and manipulating the map is straightforward: it can be slewed off to wherever you would like by using the "drag and drop" technique. Holding your cursor over any of the locations should bring up its brief description - and clicking on the location should bring up an image after a second or two's delay.
