37. Le weekend commémoratif de Comète 2020

Chers Amis,

Bernard Pasdeloup
RIP
Dear Friends,

We hope you are all keeping well and have not suffered too much from the health crisis.

It is with great regret that, despite the easing of the confinement, many uncertainties have remained and therefore we have had to take the unwelcome decision to cancel the commemorative Comet programme planned for 2020. We were also unable to hold our Annual General Meeting at the end of May, therefore 2020 will be a blank year for us.

The commemorative weekend will now take place in September 2021 on the same route from Anglet Sutar to Mandochinegeko Borda via Larressore and Espelette that was planned for 2020.

During the confinement, our President, Jean Dassié, now a resident of the EHPAD, Arbonne, was denied visits but despite that he maintained his morale and is doing well.

Finally, some sad news: our friend Bernard Pasdeloup was taken from us suddenly. He was a regular Standard Bearer for Free France, and he took part in all our ceremonies without fail. He was a jovial and generous being who has left a great void. RIP Bernard.

Our best wishes to all of you,

Board of directors.
