Nous recommandons aux personnes souhaitant participer
de se baser soit à Bayonne, soit à Anglet, car nos transports seront
disponibles depuis ces deux centres. La prise en charge des autocars
s'effectuera depuis la place des Basques, Bayonne et la Mairie, rue Amédée Dufourg, Anglet, vous devez vous assurer de sélectionner votre hébergement qui se trouve à une distance de marche confortable des points de prise en charge des bus. Le programme complet sera publié comme d'habitude sur notre
blog en mai-juin. Pour les débutants, le vendredi est consacré aux
cérémonies commémoratives tandis que la randonnée à travers les

Dear Members, dear Friends,
We
wish to inform our members and friends for their diaries that our
annual commemorative long weekend in the Pays basque will take place
during 6th, 7th & 8th September 2024. We will be walking over the inland route via Larressore and Espelette that was used from September

We would recommend that those wishing to participate
should base themselves either at Bayonne or Anglet - as our transport
will be available from these two centres.. Coach pick ups and drop-offs will be
take place at the place des Basques, Bayonne and the Town Hall, rue Amédée Dufourg, Anglet. You'd be well-advised to ensure that your chosen accommodation is within comfortable walking distance from one or the other of the pick up points.
For first timers, the Friday is given over to commemorative
ceremonies while the walk over the mountains will be on the Saturday
and Sunday. This link - kindly made by Ricardo Hernani - shows the walk profile on the Sunday.
For those participants who, for whatever reason, are unable take part in the walk, a parallel programe will take them in a minibus, meeting up with the walkers at intervals.
